Hard to believe this thread is still running on the other forum. I wonder if boards and Sal would be so sure about the old man being guilty for shooting this thug girl if it was set differently. Say a woman had just been raped got to her gun and shot a man in the back as he was zipping up his pants and running yelling don't shoot me I might be a daddy soon ?

Lol..... may be a different story if one of them had been involved. No one can say for sure what they would have done faced with the same events. We don't know how bad the 80 year old was beaten, they probably thought he would die or maybe threatened to come back and finish him off...who knows! It's always easy being a Monday morning quarterback.

I learned a very long time ago, after a traumatic event, that I would be capable of taking a human life. It was shocking to me...but I could have done it.

boards seems exceptionally mean and angry to me lately the way he responds. More than I ever recall him being.

either way, that thread goes on like that because they are hanging onto the "RUSH".

I don't think young guys like Boards have much of a future and they are wrongly blaming boomers rather than liberal government programs and of course the FED and wars for profit...boomers for the most part were hard working good folks..

I really don't understand why the young generation has it out for the boomers. Perhaps the boomers spoiled their children a little too much. Gen Y is the most narcissistic unicorn loving group we've ever seen.

I also think boards will be just fine. I believe he is a "elite".

I don't even have to read the thread to tell you that it would have been a totally different story had the criminals assaulted boards' wife.
