I'll be there with you in spirit but not in body this time. I've been hornswaggled into a weeklong dogsitting with a friend's pit bull starting next Saturday. But he's gonna bring the dog by this morning to make sure me and the dog are compatible before I decide to go through with it. So gotta be here for that.

I just woke up and Christine is still cutting Zs. She's not a happy camper if I wake her up on weekends. I'd rather face ridicule here on the forum than face her wrath face to face... within hitting distance.

I'm proud of myself for getting up, getting out and walking. It is so peaceful there. I'm trying hard to make some serious lifestyle changes, so today was a beginning of sorts for me.

I left the pups and my husband snoozing merrily away. Next time, my husband and one pup are going to go along. I was happy to see so many people out walking their pooches this morning.
