| HMG and Jake,
My hubby, dog and I will be there in the morning. Looking forward to it!
Can somebody please let Bob know? He may want to come, too.
Come one, come all for a Sunday morning stroll!

| I hear you HG, but I'm in Hoover this weekend. Let's get together for a bike ride next week. I'm gonna be coming down on Tuesday to install that metal thing in the boat tank and after that, I'm free. | |

| Are you still going, HMG?? It is COLD this morning! Of all mornings, of course.
Anyway, we're up and about, and the only thing holding us back is the cold.

| Guys, I went outside just now to see if it's really as cold as the 'net says it is. I'm here to tell you it IS. I really wanted to go, but I don't think I can handle the cold this morning. It's supposed to warm up by this afternoon. Is anybody up to rescheduling this for later today? If not, and I understand, my husband and I have committed to coming next Saturday or Sunday morning if it's not this cold. I am disappointed. | |

Our messages crossed over. My husband thinks this weather is absolutely splendiferous, but I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather. I wouldn't enjoy the walk much, and I do want to enjoy it! We will plan to be there next Sunday morning.

| I was up and ready to go until I walked outside for the paper. I came back inside and got on the other site to let everybody know I wasn't going because of the cold.
I'll be there on the 24th..

| I'll bring my bike too. It's not the best size bike for me, but I bought it to ride around the block with my neice's little daughter until she's big enough to ride it herself, then she can have it and I might get another one.. | |

| I'll bring my feet.
I've been planning to dig my old bike out of our storage area for.....about six months now, but I haven't done it yet. HMG has been my ongoing inspiration for coming up with some form of exercise. I have been a computer potato for far too long!
So we'll all meet at 0800, then those who want to ride will ride and those of us who walk will walk. My dog Buddy has requested to ride shotgun with HMG, though. Do you have a very large basket on your bike, HMG? I mean, he's only 70 pounds.....and Bud did promise to wear his goggles.

Hahaahaaaa! We could probably hook the bike trailer to Buddy's harness and he could give rides to the neighborhood children. Bud loves to ride, but he'd rather pull any day. That dog loves to pull. It's in his nature. Plus, he's just about the sweetest dog I've ever had. We've even thought about hooking him up to a little red wagon so he can help us pull whatever needs to be pulled at any given time. Yard trash, that's his big thing. He's totally cleared our side garden of any overhanging limbs or vines. He dragged the limbs of a dead tree and put them all in neat pile. It actually looks much better now! We need to give him the run of the back yard next.

| When you guys meet Bud, I need to warn you about something. He doesn't do this as often anymore, but when he was younger, he would lie down on his back when someone new wanted to pet him. He'd go for that quick belly rub, then he would tinkle - straight up. | |

| We're gonna be in town this weekend. We'll give it a go. My back doesn't like walking, so, I'm gonna bring my bike... and my camera. (Don't worry, I'm not gonna take face shots and "out" anybody... just pics of the scenery.) | |

| I used to live in that neighborhood. I sold right before Ivan. 224 sunset avenue, house was built in '47 and had character. I miss that 900 square foot place. All of my neighbors were retired seniors and we split the light bill for the streetlight in the alley. | |

| Jake, I wish we could go out for a bite, but I won't be able to eat solid food on Sunday. It'll be clear liquids for me all day. I have a test on Monday morning. Ugh.
We are definitely planning to do that walk, though. If it rains, I can bring an umbrella. Just as long as it's not cold!
We may be bringing our Molly instead of Bud. He's excitable, as I've written before. Molly is just a laid back couch potato pooch.
See you guys there! | |

| If it's pouring rain like it was in Alabama yesterday, we may not go, but if it's just a few sprinkles, I expect we'll be there.
That's a good idea about going out for breakfast afterward. Maybe we can make that a goal in the future. I just can't partake tomorrow.....bummer.
