Robert Louis Dear is a terrorist

News today: He was a supporter of the Army of God which claimed credit for previous abortion clinic bombings.
                 He was motivated by a religious belief that taught him all abortion is murder, so he felt justified in killing abortion providers.
                 He posted these beliefs online to try and convince others that abortionists should be killed.
He has a violent nature. His first wife said he beat her and slammed her head against the wall. He also had babies by two other women while he was married to her.
He has been accused of being a peeping tom by a neighbor, accused of animal abuse, and arrested for rape.
But he had a right to have a gun.

Why?

This man is a terrorist but even CNN is reluctant to call it that because they don't want to hear from Christians that a Christian can't be a terrorist.

No, a Christian cannot be a terrorist. That's true.
But Robert Dear is not a Christian and neither is anyone else who wants to murder abortionists.
Neither is anyone else who tries to inspire hatred against their fellowman.

I don't see why Christians cannot be terrorists. Surely, Christians have performed inappropriate violence against Muslims and fools have been bombing & shooting up abortion clinics... all in a perverted sense of doing God's work.

A Christian is a person who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Killing in his name doesn't necessarily affect this belief.

I agree that killing someone in Jesus' name isn't adhering to Jesus' teachings of peace and compassion.

I completely agree. It only classifies them as "extremists," just like the rest of the wing nuts.
