Staying healthy will collapse the economy?

So if we all try to stay healthy and not go to he Hospital, the economy will suffer? Who knew?



The personnel cuts at Sacred Heart Health System will be deeper than first disclosed last week as the health care giant copes with its first-ever year in the red with fewer admissions, fewer surgeries and declining satisfaction among its own physician staff.

Insurance companies control who gets admitted and what surgeries are done on an in-patient versus an out-patient basis....but the building of new beds at SHH continues.

Food for thought....it's cheaper to have a newly hired employee and part-time employees.

WHY don't they cut an administrator who makes bigger $ than the drs??? They are the biggest daily cost in the hospital..

You mean cut the "Top Heavy" staff....like the saying too many Chiefs and not enough Indians.

Problem is... it's the Chiefs that make the decisions.

You think any of 'em want to be unemployed?

The folks at the top of the food chain in even our local hospitals are extremely wealthy.  Just watch in the coming months as the hospital personnel at the working level will start to see reduced hours and layoffs. 

Obama Care.  It ain't even got started good yet.
