We'll spend many millions of dollars and waste thousands of hours of congressional time (collectively) in the pursuit. This will be about as useful as the never-ending political witch hunts masquerading as Congressional hearings.

And by the time impeachment happens, it it ever came to fruition, it'd be about time for the lame duck president to leave, anyway.

I appreciate your concerns and I would even agree they are true.

But there is a principle at stake here.

If we do not impeach this president for his crimes then we may never be able to impeach a president ever. As his crimes will be held as example from this point on.

Impeachment ain't never going to happen...it's quite obvious because it was the democrats that have floated the 'impeachment' word months ago in order to as Eric pointed out and to give them an issue for the elections approx a month a way....they [democrats] would benefit politically and republicans need to concentrate on issues rather than walking into a trap...
