Suddenly Obama becomes the “Empty President”

BHO squandered many opportunities to do SOMETHING over the past 30 months or so in Syria, instead he fumbled and hoped things would somehow work out while thumping his chest over his now disavowed “red line” comments. Now the Russians have made him a laughingstock on the world stage and no belligerent country will ever take him seriously again. His misguided desire to strike at Syria for personal reasons was denounced all over this country and in most other civilized countries.
The economy is a shattered shell with stagnant wages and artificial employment numbers being trumpeted as “improvement”. Nothing about the millions who have quit the “work force”.
Obamacare is now being seen for what it always has been – a misguided collection of intrusive and expensive mandates. Even some important BHO supporters have turned their back on him over what they (too late) found are the real consequences of this train wreck.
The military is being ground into a worn out shell of tired troops, tired equipment, and a hollowed out budget.
Critical areas of the Middle East are fast deteriorating into anarchy due in part to a lack of comprehensible foreign policy from the U.S.
BHO has no legacy unless one considers abject failure a legacy worth mentioning. His Presidential Library could be housed in an outhouse and no one will notice.
Hopefully voters will select a President in the upcoming election who has accomplished something worthwhile prior to running.

It takes a LOT more than any president to be successful, it takes the house and senate cooperating and working to compromize on things, NOT stalemate and vacations..

It's pretty sad that we have an incompetent Congress and President at the same time. I blame uninformed and apathetic voters for allowing this mess. I would hope that anyone currently holding office is voted out at the end of their term.

The people of Colorado have started that on the state level....voters recalled two pinheads that pushed though the anti-gun legislation ignoring the voters.....The cowh is now (or has been) a lame duck...a headline today said that now Putin is selling arms to Iran...there is no worry whatsoever of any consequence for arming terrorist regimes...This administration has done exactly the opposite of what it promised...to restore our standing in the world...Read another article that claimed that Sec of State Kerry is "scrambling" to get this chemical weapons turn over to be put into place...WHY is the United States 'scrambling' in the first place?....Shouldn't the burden of proof and actions be on Syria in order not to be bombed?...The executive branch under this cowh is/has been a failure and the Senate under Harry Reid has been a joke...any budget passed by the House has been rejected and/or not even allowed to be debated...Agree or disagree but it has been the leadership of the GOP that have stood with the cowh recently over Syria....harry reid and MANY others have been silent on this issue...And this inaction/silence has weakened this nation...It was over a year ago that the cowh decided to 'lead from behind' and look where that's gotten us and look to where that is going to lead us in the near future...Is there anyone that doesn't believe that there's another wacko that won't challange the US?....

Now that the whole world knows BHO is a shallow, ineffectual wimp there is no doubt this country will be challenged again. There are still no answers after the Benghazi debacle - an incident that is more serious than just the fact Americans were killed. It was a demonstration that these enemies are not bound by the laws of society and know they have nothing to fear from the empty president. After all, he and his administration have been very careful to keep the facts under wraps - why is that?

And the first challange just may be varifiable proof of any chemical weapons that Syria may or may not provide...The Assad Government has got to know that....a) Russia/China/ Iran are their allies and that first two will stop dead any attempt in the UN...b) US citizens oppose any action by 70% plus...c) England's Parliment has voted against action and their PM accepts their vote...d) The cowh does not have the support in Congress to sanction a strike and any vote that would lose would have an effect on the power of the cowh as well as future presidents....So 'we' have been placed on a course of a lose/lose situation by the cowh and his administration...stike--and we are on our own in the world community and w/o the support of the American people...don't strike---and radical leaders around the world will take this as a weakness on the part of the United States and future effects will be even more difficult on us and our allies....As pointed out earlier...our allies in Europe were up in arms weeks ago and wanted 'Syria punished' for there actions....THEN when it came time to put up or shut up look who backed down and with the lack of leadership in power the rhetoric of the 'red line' became an empty threat....When the cowh said that it wasn't 'his red line' it was the 'world's red line'....it became obvious to all that even the cowh is in opposition to his own rhetoric and policies....

I thought last night's speech was over the top. He basically said that the world will start using chemical weapons if we don't stop it now... and he even got in a dig about Iran and it's nuclear program. It was if to say America is being threatened... REALLY?

Now that we are shaking a stick at Syria... the only one I might add... we ARE starting to get threats. But, it is our own damn fault for trying to be the world's policeman.

Well, I personally don't think the world is sitting at the precipice.

We should butt out of Middle Eastern conflicts. Sure, it tugs at the heartstrings to see 1,000 plus people die from gas. But when millions of people starve in Africa, sometimes due to armed conflict and genocide, do we do anything effective about that? Let's put things into perspective.

And all this from the cowh that campaigned against the Bush Administration for their foreign policy...Criticized the former President when he called Iran one of the "axis of evils" and for statements made towards countries that were not a threat to the US...The cowh wanted open communications with regimes that wanted to destroy our nation...Now he suddenly wants to whack Syria and link them to Iran---welcome to the real world!...Strange though no tough talk towards Russia (Putin) for arming/backing Asaad and now arming Iran....A TOTAL FAILURE!....The day will come and probably soon...someone else will have to deal with the amatuer moves of this administration...The democrats appear to be rallying around HRC....and she was on this team!....

I agree - the Mideast is a hopeless cause. The people there will NEVER act like we think they should, they are (for the most part) uneducated fanatics corrupt down to the dirt between their toes and will never reach a point where there could be any semblance of agreement between our cultures. The death toll in Syria is routinely surpassed by starvation worldwide where most estimates put the toll at around 25,000 per DAY.

Look closer to home at Mexico and the estimated 70,000 murders associated with drugs in the last few years - most of which occurred near the U.S. border. Detroit has a higher murder rate than Columbia! There are enough problems closer to and at home that needs to dealt with. This unending adventure in the Mideast is long overdue for cessation.

It warms my heart to read these posts! Needed after hearing Nobama's empty speech last night.

Was a time I wondered if he was evil, inexperienced or just plain ignorant.

Now, after watching his many falters, failures and omissions, I believe he's a fine blend of the three.
