Teo, you have certainly ramped it up a notch.  Because posters don't buy into your thinking, it doesn't make them dimwits.  That is a bit offensive.

I even agree with you some of the time.  I guess that makes me a half-wit, lol.

Agree with him too about the NSA...IRS and the abuse of power by this administration towards citizens where the abuse is documented but to attempt to argue against the facts and history about WWII...

Like most wars it was fought by kids hyped up by novels, lore and the promised glory of battle. Many great and honorable men were against our involvement in WW1 and 2...Henry Ford, Lindbergh and others of note were isolationists as George Washington had recommended. War was a way of life in Europe and Asia. We had a chance to stay out of their squabbles but propaganda and profits easily dragged us into the fray. After getting in the mess our media had to fan the flames and justify it to the public..We believed the bullshit because we wanted to and still want to.

As far as this administrations violations of our rights..it's just a continuance of Bush's violation ...NDAA was a Bush baby...

Teo ndaa was along way before bush FYI

It was Obama who revised it to make indefinite detention for American citizens

Obama has preferred to revise policy instead of create new policy

I would agree though that bush is a ashat too, he laid foundation so bummer could radicalize them

The Patriot Act was under President Bush.... Go back and revisit some of the most outspoken critics that it would indeed intrude into regular citizens rights/privacy....The cowh has expanded the program and it's data collecting to all time levels where many proclaim that if you have a cellphone your information is and has been collected...Again go back and note the critics about the Bush Administration and notice just how quiet they've become about this issue under this administration...There are some that have been consistent with their criticism......
