Verizon, et. al., want to kill the internet as we know it Greed-300x247Yes, they want to charge web sites for the privilege of flowing their content over their networks to their subscribers.  Never mind that they are making tons of money SELLING access to their subscribers and charge additional fees from their subscribers if they access a lot of data.  They want more.  Damn greedy bastards!

Upstart companies won't have the money to pay carriers to carry their programming, so it will only be the big guys (who started out little once upon a time).  Innovation will be thwarted.

They're in court right now arguing to end the FCC's Net Neutrality rules.
