| A few days ago, I read an article where mice were given certain stem cells a few days before they would normally die... and they lived healthy lives three times a mouse's lifespan. That would equate to humans getting stem cells at 70 or 80 and living to 250 years. Hey, I'm all for living longer, but can you imagine what would happen to society if people lived longer? Just think of the total collapse of retirement systems... of the strains on the earth and food sources from overpopulation. (I don't particularly want to go back to work...  ) | |
