All of the Pacific countries combined can't contain China. China is a patient country and will soon be positioned to wreak economic havoc with the U.S. if we try to interfere with their expansion goals....they are even now positioned to destroy Wal-Mart if they choose to shut off trade. What would that alone do to our economy?

That is correct....they hold our economy in their hands which allows them to flex their military might with no consequences...

We need to bite the bullet and wean ourselves off from China's products.

Yeah, I know it is damn near impossible, but if we can bully Iran and North Korea with sanctions, we can certainly begin sanctions with China, perhaps on a peacemeal basis.

Hit 'em in the pocketbook... and, yes, it will hurt us financially at first, but maybe it'll a stimulus for us to produce our own products again.

Admittedly, I'm no financial wizard, lol.

I would much rather pay a worker here $100 than someone in China $25, then the ship that brings it here 25, then the middle men 50 so I can buy something in WalMart for $125.. At least the worker here is paying taxes and social security, something the workers in other countries don't contribute to..
