Think it may have to do more with the fact that she was in a public place and others heard/witnessed her rant...Don't know about SC but FL Statutes...Threat of safety to another person or to society...Raising your voice and using abusive language witnessed by others is enough under Florida Laws to be charged... | |

We should not have laws that arrest people for being rude or offensive. It's part if freedom speech actually
No one gets harmed out in public if you cuss
It is one thing to have it as a rule to go somewhere such as this forum
But out in public you should be able to be cuss.

| I can see where Kroger can make her leave, but it shouldn't be illegal... shows lack of judgement and propriety, but not illegal.
Just don't run your mouth like that in a courtroom. You'll get slapped with contempt. | |

And most of the time that's exactly what happens...the individual(s) are usually warned by the owner of the establishment that their behavior is not appropriate and that's when the fun starts....which leads to them asked to leave...they refuse....trespass after warning/disorderly conduct etc.,... | |
