It's difficult to simply compare numbers, it's the intent or seriousness of the executive order that matters most. An executive order making 12 November national milk day doesn't compare to one overriding a current law.

Would have guessed that FDR would have quite a lot based on the circumstances both foreign and domestic that he faced during his time in office....

Agree.... and he may be taking a very risky step bypassing Congress and pushing through his amnesty/immigration agenda...

Well, here's the thing. John Boehner wants to sue Obama for issuing too many executive orders. But then he is saying the President isn't doing his job because he should handle the border crisis with an executive order:

Dem's don't want a solution either. Reid pressured BHO not to support fixing the glitch in the immigration bill that would have slowed the child migration.

Face it, neither side wants to do anything substantive because of the election later this year. This is political comedy at it's best but it's just not funny anymore.

I agree I think it has more to do with content than numbers.

It also has to do with changing laws without congressional approval
