Ya'll are putting too much thought and effort into liberalness day. That is counter productive. You have to let go of all that thought and planning and just go with the vibe and feel of the day, follow the flow of the universe. If you put a lot of work into the process, well, follow that to its logical conclusion.

I do think that I may just become a liberal libertarian social universalist.

Counterproductive, sir? We think not. Were it not for our liberal think tank, The Liberal Day of Freedom, Liberal Day or the Day of Liberalness (whichever moniker you prefer - we are liberal about that sort of thing) would never have started in the first place.

All that thinking is hard on the brain, as everyone knows. Mandated "om, om, oming" is done at the conclusion of every groupthink session, just to make sure we don't drift into conservatism due to all our hard work promoting liberalism. Then we pile in the van and head back to the commune, where we spend evenings listening to old Ravi Shankar cassette tapes.

It is a tough life, but somebody has to live it.

Time to fire up the old 8-track music, put on some patchouli oil, and see how we can redistribute wealth.

I'll go shopping and do my part in redistributing the wealth....the dentist got some yesterday.

It can be better if one becomes a left-leaning libertarian. That way, you can leave out the word "liberal", and nobody will catch on. Trust me. It works.

As far as the Catching the Cool Waves of Liberalness date is concerned:  Mr. W. Large has now changed it back to Thursday, so it starts at midnight tonight. We always try to accommodate Mr. Large, since this whole program is was his idea after all. He thunk it up, in other words.

So Paige will be participating, too? We look forward to viewing her attire. We have another dog who participates, so I will try to post his picture shortly.

Back to the Swimming In Liberal Thought Think Tank. That's SILTTT for short. We've called it that ever since a social media participant whose name we will not disclose called us bottom feeders. Cool, eh?

By the way, Eric, patchouli oil is banned during think tank sessions, so please just wear AXE or Old Spice next time. Or stick fresh sprigs of rosemary and basil in your shirt pocket or behind your ears. Thank you. We appreciate your continuing support of our critical mission.

Good grief, my very conservative husband bought some patchouli oil somewhere about six years ago. He dabbed some on one evening. I almost barfed!!! That is one scent that does NOT agree with me, and I'm supposed to be the liberal one in the family.  

Joani, liberalness day and shopping, or going to the dentist, just doesn't work, hon. (NOTE:see below, in that case, it may qualify as a good lib day and will work)  Grab a cold beer, put on a little lib music, ( I know that is hard to zero in on, and music will always be one of the things that gets easy approval on libness day) and  focus on nothing at all.  

Storm, I think the original let go and be lib time slot was on a Thursday afternoon, but there simply was not enough time to really dig all the stuff we had to dig, and play all the music from the time when it really was good, and breath deep.  I think I was listening to the 5th Dimension's Stoned Soul Picnic when I decided that I may become a liberal libertarian.

Eric, don't let PB dictate your scent, she may be tryin to keep you down man...establishing rules and   stuff.  She seems to have that right wing do it my way or not at all thing going on all of a sudden, and I am shocked and disappointed.
