Let's just be friendly, peace loving, kind, and groovy.  All that war machine stuff is highly over rated.  Let's melt our weapons and let the world live in peace.

Well, it's Wednesday and the sun is out, a soft breeze is blowing and it has the feel of early fall. Life is good in this part of the country. Bout half way through a bottle of wine, Al Jarreau singin in the background.

Yep, in a way, occasionally I guess, Nirvana indeed.

I know this aint the music forum, or the dog thread, so forgive me, but we need to do something to kick this thang up a notch or three.  Good grief...

Or we can get mellow a little bit, makes no difference.  

Since this is the Writlarge thread, feel free to feel free. This is a "liberal" forum, so I think there is some groovy missin or something.

I like a lot of different types of music.  One of them is a new (to me, anyway) form called Dubstep.  Here is a song called Sail by Awolnation.  This video uses Sail for it's background music.  It sounds much better if played on a high-fi systemk (heavy on the bass).  I picked this video because it gives you something to watch while listening to the music.

Liked the music and the video. Grinding the crack... That had to be a round table discussion on who wants to name the song what on that one.

I wonder sometimes who is left with the final decision on what to name a song.

I have a very wide range when it comes to music appreciation.  I can appreciate the crack grinding music if I'm working out.  Although, some old Black Sabbath or Allman Brothers can also do the trick for that or jumping out of a plane.  

I like smooth jazz when it's big cigar smoking, dry whiskey drinking time. When the situation does not call for jumping out of a plane. Such as:

Or, sittin on a boat reminiscin this and that.

I like that Cinderella song. Reminds me of Poco a little bit.

I sold my boat this year... hooray! Had to throw 30K into the hat to do it, but I don't have that "anchor" around my neck anymore.
