Okay, so by now y'all have read that Sheriff Morgan wants to wash his hands of the jail. His bully tactics are not going to wash with a County Commission (especially Chairman Valentino) that seems irritated by Morgan's demands.

Personally, I believe the management of the jail will go from one underfunded entity to a different underfunded entity... and the Courts will remain unhappy.
Escambia County (read - the citizenry) will probably wind up paying a fine and entering into a Consent Order with the Courts.
