Hey PB... Good morning. I trust you'll have a great labor day.

We came down for the Jamaican Fest and bathtub races. After doing some tidying up, we'll be headed back to Hoover.

We didn't make it to the Jamaican festival, although I did want to go. We were both pretty fatigued from a long work week, so we just crashed at home yesterday. It was cozy and comfortable.

However, since today is Labor Day, we will be laboring in our yard. No fun times for us, but we'll feel better when it's done. We have to mow the grass that doesn't even belong to us - our neighbor put in expensive sod several years ago, but it doesn't grow in his yard. It decided to come on over and grow in OUR yard, even though grass is anathema to me. It makes a nice border for the garden, I must admit.

Have a safe trip back to Hoover - watch out for that crazy Labor day traffic!

I will be spending one of the last days of my staycation working on the kitchen. I would take before and after pics, but I'd be too embarassed by the "before."
