Online for free, multiple GINORMOUS copies are printed and distributed to every member of congress and to certain libraries. The GPO also sold about 2,500 four-volume sets to private citizens last year for $218 each.
What an effing waste! I would NEVER try to read the paper version. What about you?

Agreed, Eric, but if there are some dam fools who will pay for it.....let it be. I would doubt, though, that they are paying actual costs judging from the post office et al.
Our goberment doesn't really know how to cost things, do they?

What a waste. I wonder how many trees forests they cut down to print all those copies??
