| Yessir, that surely is El Capitan!
Are you sure that's Topanga Canyon? I've never seen a view like that from there.... but I've only been there a few times. It's a very deep, narrow canyon that's real lush and overgrown. Although, now that I think of it maybe that's from the top... not certain that I've ever been to the top.

| Kings Canyon, which is between Sequoia National Park and Yosemite, roughly (there's actually another section of NF land between them). I'd rather go to Kings Cyn anyday, partially because I dislike tourists and being around people so much. These last three pictures TRULY do not do Kings Cyn justice:  Truly one of the most beautiful, serene, peaceful and amazing places I have ever been in my life. After I got married (and before I got divorced, har har), for our honeymoon my husband and I camped our way through Death Valley, up the East side of the Sierras, over Tioga Pass, then all through the Sierras, including King's Cyn... it was my favorite spot by far. | |
