Justice Scalia.....

It was so sad by just about all involved that the man wasn't even at the funeral home yet and there were so many front and center as to what needed to be done to replace the late justice....

The one bright light came from Justice Ginsburg....she referred to Justice Scalia as her "best buddy" and that she would miss being around him....Here were two individuals that were complete opposite sides on most if not all judicial/constitutional views/opinions....and yet they and their spouses enjoyed being around each other socially and there was a mutual respect between two friends and co-workers....Whether anyone agrees with Justice Ginsberg or not she provided a huge touch of 'class' while others were making asses out of themselves....

She's a really neat lady. It's no surprise that it was she that provided the touch of class.

I can't stand he politics and judicial activism either. Separate issue.

Just couldn't stand the 'classlessness' on display from both sides....Out there spouting off about what they will do...should do....or what should be done and then....oh, last couple of seconds left....Justice Scalia was a great friend/ man and will be missed....

Really? He died Saturday Afternoon.
The first question at the Republican debate Saturday night was what Republicans should do if Obama nominates another justice.

None of the candidates refused to answer on the basis of giving Justice Scalia at least time to get back to Washington in a jet. All of them had answers ready at hand. Very classless, I agree. The question was classless.
But it's what everyone in the audience wanted to hear about.

Stephen Colbert said he had a good experience with Scalia on one occasion too. He said Scalia had a great sense of humor. That's from a very liberal media figure.
