That guy is awesomely stupid. I love it. It's actually going to snow again tonight and tomorrow. The majority of the pitch of my roof is WAY too steep to climb on without a climbing harness and even then, I don't know what I'd tie-off to. However, it is very unfortunate for me that even without any assistance as shown in the gif, the snow slides off half the roof and lands precisely in front of my garage door. Because I am fortunate enough to work from home and make my own hours (not to mention that I'm a World Class Hermit), after the last big snow we got I didn't leave the house for about a week and a half... The garage door wouldn't open when I went to finally leave (and I HAD to because Blue Kitty was out of food). I went outside I found that not only was there 4-1/2 foot of SNOW that had piled-up in front of the garage door preventing me from opening it, but there was 4-1/2 foot of ICE. All the snow had fallen off the roof piling up in front of the garage, then it had melted some then frozen solid. So I had to use a Pulaski and a pick-axe to chip the 4-1/2 foot of ice from out of in front of the garage so I could then shovel it out of the way to go get poor ole Blue some vittles. I will not again forget to shovel the SNOW before it turns to ICE after that lovely experience lol. | |
