Bestselling author Jack Cashill is back with his most timely book yet, “Scarlet Letters: The Ever-Increasing Intolerance of the Cult of Liberalism.”

Cashill, a WND columnist, addresses what he describes as the unholy rise of progressive neo-puritanism.

As in old school puritanism, worshippers achieve a sense of moral worth simply by designating themselves among “the elect” – no good works required. To validate that uncertain status, they heap abuse upon the sinner lest they be thought indifferent to the sin, he outlines.

Rather than simply cataloguing the neo-puritan assaults on reason and liberty, “Scarlet Letters” illustrates how the progressive movement has come to mimic a religion in its structure but not at all in its spirit while profiling brave individuals like Clarence Thomas, Aayan Hirsi Ali, Camille Paglia and many lesser known truth tellers who have dared to take a stand against this inquisition.

Released Tuesday by WND Books, Scarlet Letters shows in detail how an allegedly “liberal” movement has become what can only be described as bizarrely punitive and inquisitional.

I heard the other day of a poll that more than half would support censoring speech they disagree with.

This country is really sliding down that so-called slippery slope thanks to a very small but very noisy percentage of intolerant PC police.

And that's why a candidate like Donald Trump strikes a nerve with people and why hrc is tanking in the polls.....he's unscripted and says what he thinks without his comments going through a bunch of pinheads to be politically correct/acceptable...hrc claims to be a 'champion of the middle class' and then does whatever is necessary not to interact or answer questions..There seems to be more and more people that are saying....don't tell me what you think I want to hear....tell me what you believe/think....

How about the Confederate flag. It has nothing to do with slavery does it.

Dude stop proving the article right.....slavery is over and so is racism for the most part. I don't know any racists....maybe Al Sharpton or Louis Farrakhan but that's about it...

Birthers Bite Some Rethugs

It was amusing to see the story of radical right-winger Sen. Ted "Tailgunner Ted" Cruz's campaign trying to deflect renewed "birther" accusations against him, now that front-running gasbag Donald "Rump" Trump has elevated the "birthright" citizen non-issue to the mouth breathing mob on the right. With Rump and his Rethuglican colleagues expressing the false view that children born on U.S. soil of immigrants -- documented or undocumented -- are not automatically entitled to citizenship under the Fourteenth Amendment, Tailgunner Ted, who was born in Canada, has had to again defend his status as a citizen.

The new birthers are also shining their spotlight on three other Rethuglican candidates: Gov. Piyush "Bobby" Jindal, Sen. Marco "Glug Glug" Rubio, and former Sen. Rick "Frothy Mix" Santorum. Piyush was born in the U.S. to Indian parents with student visas; Glug Glug was born in Miami to parents who only became U.S. citizens four years after his birth, and Frothy Mix was born in the U.S. to an Italian immigrant, whose status as a citizen has been questioned.

After years of nonsense and blatant racism from the right-wing questioning President Obama's citizenship, seeing some of their fellow wingnuts feel the heat from birthers is extremely satisfying.

Notice that there is more pressure on black people to stop talking about "race" than there is for racists to stop being racists.
System doesn't want racism to end it just wants you to stop talking about it.
