Does anyone know of an inexpensive place to get TVs fixed?

Sorry I used to repair TVs but it got cheaper to just toss them and buy new so I quit. Parts are very reliable in modern TVs and when they need replaced , because of their reliability they don't have a lot of them laying around and they often, along with labor charges cost more than a new TV...good luck...what are your symptoms ?

I kinda feel the same way, Ronbig. With the new TVs coming out with newer features and bigger screens, unless the TV failure is a quick fix, I'd just pitch it and look for a better one.

If money was no object (yeah, right), I'd go for something at least 65" and with 4k resolution. Features like 3-D don't excite me too much.

I got lucky on my old C-band satellite dish positioning arm a while back. I saw that a transistor had blown and went to Radio Shack and got a bunch of 'em for less than $5 I think. Soldered a new one in and it worked!
