Iraq Army Under Investigation

So, should we just get the hell out of Iraq or what?

ABC news just had a story about atrocities done on citizens (damning videos) and mentioned that the US has stopped or reduced funding for certain Iraqi combat units.

It appears that the Iraqi forces aren't much better than the IS bastards.

And there is the cycle of the M/E....might makes right and rule by fear....Nervous when I heard that Iraqi/Iranian forces had been teaming up to take back from IS....not that the Iranians can't be trusted....

ISIS wouldn't even be a problem in Iraq if their corrupt military hadn't abandoned their posts against initial ISIS attacks - even though the Iraqi army had far superior numbers and equipment. Give the Kurdish forces equipment and pull our guys out......and it would be nice if Oblamer would quit telling the lie that our troops aren't involved in fighting.

Couldn't agree more....he's a disaster and he's neither respected or feared in the M/E....Watcher the interview with the President of Egypt and he agreed that our standing in the world has been poor for the past three years...not that Egypt is a credible ally...In that part of the world words mean something and if there are no actions to back those words the thug terrorists in the M/E will continue to be aggressive....
For a guy that condemned the previous administration militarily he certainly has continued the past of over extending them around the world....

Obama... drawing on his immense expertise and experience in these matters... deemed them capable for the security of their country.So things must be going just as planned... just like in libya, yemen, somalia... etc.

Egypt.....Ukraine....Syria...etc., have a dismal record...and the relations with nations that used to be our closest allies...

Both Bush and Obama have been disasters where the M/E is concerned. That's because we shouldn't have gone over there in the first place.
When I say in the first place, I mean in the first gulf war where we went in and left our troops all over their holy land after we were through. This did not start in 2001. Just maybe we shouldn't have been meddling in their business all the way back to the Eisenhower administration. Maybe we should have left the leaders in place that they put there.

Americans need to get a mirror and see who is really to blame for all this mess. It's not one president, it's American foreign policy for the last half century.
