Refusing to listen to commands of police now authorizes them to kill you.

The cops say he was yelling to them saying "shoot me."
I guess they were just doing what he asked for, right?

I'm afraid if these these things keep happening the federal government is going to have to investigate every time a police officer shoots someone. The counties and states aren't reining these guys in. Somebody is going to have to do it.
We should be able to trust our peace officers not to be the bad guys. I used to respect them when I was young but it's getting harder to do all the time. I know some good officers and they shouldn't be dirtied by these trigger happy thugs  with badges.

I have a feeling that in the part of the country this happened those guys will not get away with it this time. I think it was up in Washington State somewhere.

A few days ago, the police said they shot the guy because he wouldn't drop some rocks when they told him to drop them.

If that's a killin' offence, Israelis would be killing thousands of Palestinian demonstrators.
