Our country is under attack. NOT good, and we are sitting quietly by hoping it will go away.

It is NOT going to go away until we demand all the atrocities being done to our nation are ended by OUR will.

The good people of this country are quiet, hard working, intelligent, they don't bother people and usually do the right things and most of them HATE confrontations.

It is time we embrace CONFRONTATIONS.

I've personally reached my moral line. That line to where I think I must speak out for what I believe in over my own self interest. And Im not talking about just speaking out on a forum.

I'm talking about protesting in the street. Getting active in local politics, taking the time to tell others around me in person my views instead of nodding my head.

This is a call to arms.

And a notice that we must prepare ourselves for the kind of CHANGE that was promised to us.

You do know that if you take to the streets you won't be able to talk on here all day, right? But seriously, getting involved gets rid of a lot of the stress and frustration people feel about politics. When you think you can do something you aren't as afraid of the future. I recommend it.

That's one of the problems with conservatives.

We call ourselves the sleeping giant, you just wait.

While others have been marching by taking baby steps with candidates who perhaps they don't agree with everything on, they are making progress as it is apparent towards their agenda, while we wait and only get off our asses for a PERFECT candidate, which isn't going to happen.

I disagree. I think conservatives are much louder than liberals. We don't have a tea party wing to compare with you guys. Fox News is everywhere scaring everybody about ebola and Isis. There's no sane media on the other side. NBC even starts every news hour with the scare tactics.  You guys are supposed to win the Senate and House in about a month. I can't see how you are a sleeping anything.
Nothing conservatives can say isn't being said. Doesn't matter if it's true or not.

I didn't like hearing the party message. I also don't agree with most of the republican social controls. I'm not sure at what point conservatism got mixed with using the govt to force moral or ethical decisions that cause themselves no direct harm... but I don't like it.

Dude, that is my biggest problem with many republicans. However, I still prefer republicans over democrats due to the many socialist issue they promote. I'm not in favor of the religious right or those who want to be in my bedroom, but im not going to vote democrat just because they ACT like they don't care what I do in my bedroom. And tossing my vote out the door when its critical to not let the socialist win is not something im willing to do. I voted for ron paul in the primary, but when he didn't win, you can bet I still got up off my butt and voted against Obama.

What Im saying is I have never agreed with any one political party or even person on everything. I mean really I don't agree with every single thing even with people im close to or love, how could I expect to agree with each idea from a group of people.

and eddard, conservative certainly are not near as vocal or active as liberals. We havnt spent years marching down the streets. The tea party is a step in the right direction for us as far a I am concerned.

Well people may think im crazy, but I actually like sarah palin.( all though I do no like her religious side and I HAVE TOLD her btw)

I have a theory about Americans. Most of us anyway. We really don't need much governance and I think the economy typically would do ok as long as people are not scared of the government. I don't think sarah would have scared anybody.

I'm not happy with the choices myself, but im terrified of Hillary or warren.

I like sarah too... but some of that may be sexual partisanship.
