I even once met a gentleman. It was a rare experience but proved to me they do still exist.

Nor have I eric but if you read this article you would think men were all crouching in the bushes looking for some poor little innocent lamb that strayed from the feminist pack .

It would be advantageous for everybody to be aware of potential hazards and act accordingly.

This isn't just a warning for women. If you are walking at night in areas without proper illumination and without companions, you increase your chances of being a victim of a crime. Life is a numbers game and we need to keep the odds in our favor.

There are parts of town I won't go into at night, and especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Why? Because I can read where and when the robberies and murders are committed.

I had to read it twice to understand what the hell she was trying to say. She is actually a good guy in my opinion. Camille Paglia is widely hated by Feminists and Liberals, which is interesting because in her own way, she is a sort of a feminist. I enjoy her. She is a fascinating woman.

That's what I thought when I first read those paragraphs, too. But I have read a lot of her stuff before, so I had to read it over again with a different eye to get that in the first paragraph she is not referring to all men, but only to a small population of predators. In the second paragraph she is criticizing others' academic theories.

It is poorly written, you are right.
