Is Chris Christie a liar? Jezebel thinks so.

The gist of the article is that Chris Christie's administration intentionally backed traffic up into a city where the mayor didn't back him for reelection and in the district of his opponent.  His administration denied it, but were caught when e-mails and texts were found that say otherwise and show they are amused at the trouble they caused.

ABC News has a story on their National News and Christie apologises for HIS STAFF and is "Outraged" and it is "Unacceptable" that HIS STAFF act this way...

I've got to say, the news story surprised me. I'm not crazy about Christie, although he is the lesser of the evils in the Republican party, but to think he'd cause a traffic jam that affected a whole town just because a politician from there refused to endorse him, well, that's just nuts.
I think he probably knew about it all along. It's not the kind of thing anyone that I'd want for my POTUS would do. It's small minded and petty, for one thing. Childish as all get out.

Too funny, I'm quite sure Christie knew what was going on but his staff will take the hit - just like BHO "didn't know" about a host of administrative failures leaving his staff floundering under the bus......Perhaps those two are more alike than different. Narcissistic egomaniacs.

The mayor that accused him of punishing him because he didin't support Christie has backed away from those comments...but the e-mails tell the tale....You are correct...wagons have been circled and sure the cover story will be that Gov Christie did not know...One traffic planner/administrator has already fallen on the sword and resigned...Only political bias would prevent some from not seeing the obvious comparasions between Gov Christie and the cowh of 'not knowing'...Narcissistic Egomaniacs describes MANY/MOST in both parties which make them elected/re-elected politicians...

Christie will have a news conference today and clear up this whole misunderstanding.

Nothing can pin him to knowing or ordering it, so we'll move along.

I'd sure like to know who's name was redacted from the memo or text, though.

He does have the moxie that other candidates seem to lack, y'know?

Wow - this is BIG - the frantic investigations and lawsuits are flying! Too bad the guvmint doesn't assign the same importance to other, apparently more minor issues, like IRS interference, bogus employment numbers in 2012, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, excessive NSA intrusion, fail to perform ACA computer system contracts, bogus green energy loans and grants, GSA conference fraud, etc.....

What he had going for him was he was willing to work with the other party and his integrity.
He lost the integrity, IMO. He looks petty and childish.

Folks in his party don't much respect his willingness to work with Democrats so that won't help him get the nomination.

It's an easy comparasion....This administration has certainly not delivered on what was promised....The cowh about the IRS scandel...'Deeply upset and heads will roll'....tick...tick....[apply to Fast and Furious...NSA...[name] cowh healthcare etc]....Christie should be held accountable especially now that he's denied and taken actions into the matter no problems with that whatsoever.. BUT calls for impeachment within 24 hours and not knowing the facts?... to blindly call for investigations etc., and turn a blind eye to the conduct of this administration is acceptable?....My comment about the 'bearhug' is exactly what it was intended to be....The liberal/liberal media LOVED Gov Christie during that time frame...gushed about him being the savior of the gop but the right would never accept him....But now with these attacks wonder how Christie feels about the political support of liberals...

This guy is just in a freaking shitstorm.

I really liked Christie's willingness to cross the aisle....but I find it impossible to believe he knew nothing about the intentional traffic jam. I may be wrong, but it also appears he threw some of his staff under the bus.

I don't think he'll get the nomination. Not now.

Perhaps the story is finally dying down but Christie is finished in regards to 2016. I think Huckabee and Bush are still in the running, so far.

Be interesting to see who attempts a run against HRC for the Dem nomination. Biden? And what if she ends up not running? The R's are looking more and more as if a relative unknown will be their frontrunner - very doubtful Christie will be there. John Huntsman? With all the issues concerning China it may be useful to have him in charge. Besides, he doesn't appear to be bogged down with negative baggage like so many others on both sides.

Still a long way off....lots of time for recoveries and stumbles....IF...there is nothing to link Christie to knowledge of or participation he may come out of this stronger...and now he will have a more insightful understanding of how the national media operates and their agenda...But IF he's tied to this personally---he's toast on the national level...He should have just answered..."At this point and time does it really matter"....then went into hibernation and suddenly release papers describing all your accomplishments....as if there was never a problem...

If he proves he is coated with teflon, Christie may be a viable candidate. Hell, I might vote for him. I like his moxie. He doesn't take crap from anybody and I respect that.

But....isn't it just refreshing that a candidate can show that side?...Unscripted and actually speaking how he really feels...Now though his style is called 'bullying' and since that's the politically correct hot spot button today it seems that there are many that continue to want the scripted...double talking...deflecting...and phony business as usual...you know a politician!....
