It's becoming more obvious that the international community is tired of Obamas failed foreign policies and his approval of spying on foreign leaders.

"Brazil snubs Obama by refusing White House state-dinner honor"

"In an unprecedented snub to President Obama, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has canceled her official state visit to the White House scheduled for next month, angered by revelations of U.S. spying on her and on major Brazilian state institutions.
The White House released a statement Tuesday saying that both presidents “agreed to postpone” Ms. Rousseff’s visit, scheduled for Oct. 23. But it is the Brazilian leader who is incensed about the National Security Agency’s surveillance of her, her top aides and a Brazilian energy company.
The two presidents spoke by phone for 20 minutes Monday night, but Mr. Obama’s explanations to Ms. Rousseff about the spying were not enough to prevent her from canceling the trip.
The Brazilian government said that “given the proximity of the scheduled state visit to Washington — and in the absence of a timely investigation of the incident, with corresponding explanations and the commitment to cease the interception activities,” Ms. Rousseff could not proceed with the trip.
The statement from Brasilia said the government hoped the visit would take place “as soon as possible,” once the issue had been “resolved properly.”
A Brazilian newspaper, O Globo, said Mr. Obama failed in an attempt to “salvage” the state visit. The White House portrayed it as a mutual decision."

The results should be the same for American citizens...there should be continued outrage over citizens being targeted by government agencies and that information being used for punative measures against those that dare to disagree with this administration...Once again...when campaigning twice the cowh continued to beat the drum of restoring the US's standing in the world community and now there are leaders that are snubbing his brand of how allies are treated...it is amazing that we (admin) seems to treat our allies more like enemies than we do our enemies....

More countries should be just as indignant. The administration needs to MADE to understand that the shit they are doing is wrong. Obviously they just don't get it. They need to be pounded with the big stick of world opinion. Kudos to Brazil!

Sure, it is great to know what is going on... for security reasons... but at what price? Is this China?

Our laws are for the "little people", not for Big Brother to obey. But, we are the land of the free... yeah, right.

So we already know Putin made Oblamer look like a fool on the international stage over Syria and now Iran's Hassan Rowhani has done the same thing at the U.N. It's obvious the U.S.'s standing in the world has deteriorated under Oblamers failed foreign policy and inept handling of many crises. Oblamers childish attempts at "diplomacy" has the world laughing and no one taking this country's interests seriously anymore. Thanks for nothing Oblamer. The only thing worse than the international situation is the train wreck of an economy right here at home.

As seen on Reuters this morning,

Quote :
(Reuters) - Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff used her position as the opening speaker at the U.N. General Assembly to accuse the United States of violating human rights and international law through espionage that included spying on her email.

Rousseff had expressed her displeasure last week by calling off a high-profile state visit to the United States scheduled for October over reports that the U.S. National Security Agency had been spying on Brazil.

In unusually strong language, Rousseff launched a blistering attack on U.S. surveillance, calling it an affront to Brazilian sovereignty and "totally unacceptable."

"Tampering in such a manner in the lives and affairs of other countries is a breach of international law and, as such, it is an affront to the principles that should otherwise govern relations among countries, especially among friendly nations," Rousseff told the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations.

She also proposed an international framework for governing the internet and said Brazil would adopt legislation and technology to protect it from illegal interception of communications.

"Information and telecommunication technologies cannot be the new battlefield between states. Time is ripe to create the conditions to prevent cyberspace from being used as a weapon of war, through espionage, sabotage, and attacks against systems and infrastructure of other countries," Rousseff said.

U.S. President Barack Obama was en route to the United Nations while Rousseff spoke. Speaking immediately after Rousseff, he avoided direct reference to her criticism.

I don't have much in the way of respect for Runaway Joe but he did nail the underlying problem with Oblamer:

Joe Scarborough: Obama Wasn't Ready to be President

Felt like we've treated our allies more like enemies than our enemies...Instead of a willingness to speak to a terrorist sponsoring nation that has killed our heroes perhaps the cowh should spend a little more time attempting to speak to our allies and repair that damages that he's created...He blamed Bush for our low standing in the world and promised to restore our standing in the world community...then allows Russia/Putin to save his butt in Syria before looking like a complete fool and is caught spying on our allies...say that our standing in the world has sunk to new depths under his lack of leadership and incompetence...
