Unbelievable....what is going on with people these days???? Part of the problem might be parental denial. See one mothers statement at the end......kind of tough since at least one apparently told police why they did it.

We were bored and decided to kill someone SuspectsOklaShooting

The young men allegedly accused of killing Melbourne-born baseball star Christopher Lane - James Edwards, 15, Chancey Luna, 16, and Michael Jones, 17. Picture: Channel 7 News Source: HeraldSun

ames Edwards, 15, and Chancey Luna, 16, were charged with first degree murder and face life in prison if convicted.

Michael Jones, 17, was charged with using a vehicle to facilitate the discharge of a weapon and accessory after the fact of murder in the first degree.

Edwards and Luna were refused bail. Bail for Jones was set at US$1 million (A$1.1 million).

The arraignment took place at the Stephens County Courthouse in Duncan, Oklahoma on Tuesday local time (Wednesday morning AEST).

The alleged random drive-by shooting has shocked locals.

Lane, 22, who had a scholarship at an Oklahoma college to play baseball and major in finance, was gunned down while jogging through the town of Duncan in Oklahoma on Friday afternoon local time.

Images of the three accused youths emerged yesterday.

But their parents yesterday protested their innocence.

Jennifer Luna, whose son is suspected of firing the fatal shot, claimed her son was at home saying: "My son is not that way. My son is a good kid."

'nochain' you are familiar with that type of denial...the middle schooler that had his mother come to school on a regular basis and flat out defend the behavior of her son against anyone in authority...This mother said almost exactly what this mother in Oklahoma said on a regular basis....Now this juvenile is an adult and is facing several felonies and a long prison sentence...The only good news in this case in Oklahoma are that the three thugs will be tried as adults and maybe there's some hope this won't be come a media circus and the three will be removed from society...Too bad they haven't been fired or injected already...

The father on one of 15 year-old (I believe) said he wasn't too concerned because his son "didn't pull the trigger".

He acted like it was just a misunderstanding and that his son would be exonerated.

With parents like that, it is no wonder that kids like that are being raised without a conscience.
