Man dies after drinking too much cola

We were talking here about the dangers of drinking too much diet cola, so I think this article is apropos for discussion:

What I find interesting is the conclusion that too much cola can affect muscles and bones. I believe this is especially true with diet cola, since it can affect the phosphorus/calcium balance.

I used to drink 2-3 cans of cola per day when I was a teenager. And they were the sugared varieties. Nowadays, I hardly drink any manufactured drink... except for the demon Margaritas, which I drink so fast sometimes that I get the dreaded "brain freeze". My regimen is to tank up on water first, drink my margaritas, then get a glass or two of water before retiring that evening.

Works for me!!!

OH how much I hate brain freeze. I got it the other day when I was eating one of those waffle sundaes at Dairy Queen.

Bad for the diet, good for the soul.

I have a friend whose daughter has some type of a medical condition and she dosent know when she has eaten too much. They have to keep everything locked up because she will eat every thing. I guess if she got a hold of Soda or certain foods this could happen to her. Maybe this guy had a similar condition.

I do that with Fritos. I'll eat them until I hate myself. Not a real medical condition, mind you. I just pig out on 'em.
