They proved me wrong and I'm so glad they did. I honestly thought that thing was gonna end up a pile of twisted debris on the surface.

Bob's skepticism arises from his own personal experience with a UFO that landed in his back yard last year due to mechanical difficulties. After holding their breath for 7 minutes, they were obviously elated at NASA.

Good on 'em! It's an awesome accomplishment. Reminds me of the movie Apollo 13 and the reign of Gene Kranz as Director of Mission Operations.
