Richard Branson (owner of Virgin Airlines, Virgin Mobile, and all things Virgin) apparently lost a bet with Air Asia. I don't know the details.
But I think he wanted to dress in drag, so it may be a dream come true.

The practical minded person in me would very much like to know the same thing. I believe most of those places are plumbed... I wonder if they ran plumbing either under the decks or under the water/sand since it's not deep?? Does not seem very safe were there to be a burst pipe or something. :/

When we ran gasoline piping, it was strapped to the bottom of the pier.
On those bungalows I would imagine that there is a sump that all piping drains into... one sump per bungalow. And the sump would have float actuators that controlled the operation of a grinder pump or two, that would pump into a forced main back onto the mainland.
Perdido Key had a forced main running from the FloraBama toward the East. All the condos had their own pumps and would pump into the forced main. It was a crude method of transporting sewage effluent, but it worked.
Similarly, each bungalow could pump into a forced main... That would carry the effluent off the pier and into an upland treatment/disposal area.

The Falkirk Wheel is a rotating boat lift in Scotland. It connects the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. Named after the nearby town of Falkirk in central Scotland, the lift opened in 2002. The two canals it serves were previously connected by a series of 11 locks, but by the 1930s these had fallen into disuse. The locks were filled in and the land built upon.
The difference in height of the two canals at the wheel is 24 metres (79 ft), roughly equivalent to the height of an eight-storey building. But the Union Canal is 11 m higher than the aqueduct which meets the wheel, and boats must pass through a pair of locks to descend from this canal onto the aqueduct at the top of the wheel.
The structure is near the Rough Castle Fort; the closest village is Tamfourhill. On 24 May 2002, Queen Elizabeth II opened the Falkirk Wheel as part of her Golden Jubilee celebrations. The opening was delayed a month due to flooding caused by vandals who forced open the wheel's gates.

I have extremely fair skin and have been burned worse than that, I am sorry to report. It was when I was younger and dumber... was at Avila Beach with my best friend and her family. Back then (again, when I was dumber) when I did lay out in the sun, I would burn first, then tan nicely. She insisted that I use her Hawaiian Tropic SPF4 oil instead of my sunblock on our first outing and I stupidly agreed. I was so burned that I was blistered from head to toe (4 - 5 inch across blisters) and I was sunsick, which is an utterly miserable thing.
For the past 15+ years I have been completely paranoid about skin cancer and do everything possible to stay out of or stay protected from the sun. When I lived in Pensacola I met women who I worked with who I thought were 15 - 20 years older than me because of their wrinkled, leathery skin, only to find later that they were my age or younger. I redoubled my efforts to stay out of the sun at that point. Yikes!

Key Deer must like Doritos.
The Associated Press
BIG PINE KEY, Fla. -- A deer in the Florida Keys is breathing more easily after a deputy removed a Doritos bag from its head.
The Monroe County sheriff's deputy discovered the Key deer while on patrol late Saturday evening. Its entire head was stuck in the chips bag.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Becky Herrin says the deer allowed the deputy to remove the bag without a struggle.
Key deer are the smallest of the Virginia white-tailed deer subspecies and are endangered. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services says the deer have been threatened by development, habitat loss and hurricanes.
Herrin reminds Florida Keys visitors to properly dispose of trash to protect animals from harm.
