Workers facing layoffs.....

economy still weak....and yet the US finds $500M for Palestinians....Do they like us this week?....Wonder if our new sec of state made them promise to 'reform' (play nice) like the money conditions they gave Egypt?...

I believe in helping your friends and allies when we can. But I don't think Palestinians are exactly our "friends"!!

I am to the point of saying that we should stop throwing money at all other countries (friends included) until we have extra money to throw around. UNLESS it is a matter of being beneficial to our national security. National security and the safety of Americans should be our first priority.

Most of the money we give away ends up in a few very wealthy peoples hands OR for things like AIDS education in Africa where they don't know anything about AIDS and don't care 1 bit if they spread it to another 25-50 people each..

I think "we" could learn a few things from Ron Paul's views on foreign policy, we'd be better off for it, and a lot more financially sound.
