Man Wanted For Lewd Act In Department Store

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to identify a man that allegedly exposed himself to a child at a department store on Davis Highway.

The man is seen in a surveillance photo from Sears. Deputies said he appears to be a middle aged white male with short or bald hair with a light colored goatee or beard. He’s wanted for a lewd and lascivious act involving a minor.

Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

I wish to hell they could have found a better surveillance picture.

It makes me wonder...do these people stop at exposing themselves or do they progress to sexually assaulting children?

That's what I am afraid of. Not that exposing themselves isn't bad enough. But if they get away with that, then I guess they would think that they can go further.

Exactly. It's like a gateway drug, and is also similar to the inevitable escalation of violence after someone tortures a poor, defenseless animal.
