Kim Davis jailed until she issues marriage licenses to Gays

U.S. District Court Judge David Bunning placed Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis in the custody of U.S. marshals until she complies, saying fines were not enough to force her to comply with his previous order to provide the paperwork to all couples. Allowing her to defy the order would create a "ripple effect."

"Her good-faith belief is simply not a viable defense," he said. "Oaths mean things."

Ouch I wouldn't want to be the judge ...he's in contempt of God....

Now they need to start arresting govt officials that don't enforce immigration laws.

     Had the same thought.....When the argument is that she as a government official has an obligation to follow the laws then it is a little confusing as to why those that have/are failing to enforce the laws on the books pertaining to immigration  should not be subject to the same standards as this woman....

When Kim Davis declines to issue a marriage license on her religious convictions the applicants can simply go to another line and another clerk be served....

When government....elected officials refuse to enforce the immigration laws the illegals are allowed to enter/remain illegally in the country...receive benefits [11-12 million by most estimates]...and some commit crimes against citizens that are paying taxes to be protected by the same government/elected officials that are/have been allowed to select which laws they will enforce....Ms Davis is jailed and the government/elected officials remain free continue to ignore the laws that they've sworn to protect.....wonder why people are pissed with the government?....

The whole process and purpose of government has been trashed by this administration.
