Sacred Heart isn't going to shoot themselves in the foot. Like the cable companies that negotiate with content providers, they are playing hardball, but one of 'em will eventually cave in.

You heard it here first, folks.

In case they don't, I didn't say it, lol. If you have Blue Cross for your Medicare insurance policy, you may not be able to use it at Sacred Heart Hospital after July 1. 3

They might come together but it will be a close call, SH wants 28% increase.

While Bob is right about Medicare Advantage plans this encompasses all plans with Blue Cross.

That's a huge increase!

Health care costs MUST be contained. Maybe BC/BS should balk.

My mother received a letter from Humana. They are no longer paying claims to HCA providers. So that's West Florida Hospital.

It's the time of year/cycles when the contracted PPOs re-negotiate.
