Cleared former Ferguson Officer Lewis of Federal Charges....Justice/Law prevailed over all the rhetoric...promises....and unfounded allegations....There are many that should be ashamed for their conduct during this ordeal from the cowh on down through the media...Sadly, there will be no lessons learned....

The supposedly enlightened progressive liberals will just say that the judicial system is corrupt as law enforcement agency as they ignore any wrongdoing on the part of said perpetrator of crime.

Standard liberal tactics. Turn a blind eye to any criminal activity committed by the other party.

Exactly why holder is holding a p/c to explain how bad the police force in ferguson is/has been...when you can't deliver as you've promised you use your title/position to tear down and make excuses for criminals/crime and how unfair those that enforce the laws are....He kept speaking of the 'disconnect' but as usual the fault is entirely on the law enforcement officials rather than the community that refuses to cooperate against criminals in their community....

The normal every day people are either afraid to turn the criminals in or testify against them in court because the judges let them go with a slap on the hand.. The police have to put up with arresting the same criminals time after time because of the same judges..

Zimmerman was recent cleared again.

I'm amazed that he wasn't fired five years ago... and many times sense.

So now he goes after the police force. He mentioned racist emails.....maybe the cops should have pulled a 'Hillary'.

The fact that an indictment didn't come down, doesn't guarantee innocence... just that there isn't enough evidence to prosecute with a good chance of conviction.

Probably the best thing, though, considering the Grand Jury didn't vote to prosecute.

Maybe the city of Ferguson shouldn't keep cops on the force who are so obviously (from their e-mails) blatant racists?

Now some will agree that e-mails are important?..Or at least in the case of the city officials and/or officers but not a sec of state..or..IRS Supervisor(s)....Holder was/is simply grandstanding and attempting to save face with the black community after breezing into town and agreeing about the injustice and then later failing [due to facts/evidence] to deliver an arrest of an innocent former officer...

When did Hillary Clinton use the "N" word in an e-mail? When she's caught doing that I think it should be known to all the news media and reported even on Fox.

It works when someone is trying to deny the DOJ report to claim it's just all grandstanding. I think if the report had come to a different conclusion a lot of people would be hailing it just like they have the conclusion the justice department reached about the cop.

Could a white ag have gone to the murder of a white teenagers justifiable killing by a black police officer... met with only the white community... and promised with no information (except lies) to bring to bear the full weight of the united states justice department? Have never heard any poster here that has ever made the statement that there is no racism in America and/or that it ended in the 50's....to continue to perpetuate this does nothing to helping the problem and certainly does not offer an explanation...excuse...or justification of the lawlessness that occurred in Ferguson...Of course there are racists and sadly there will always be and they come form all groups...

Those that used their work servers in an inappropriate manner should be dealt with...again no one here has suggested that they shouldn't be punished. Most places of employment have guidelines and if there were violations then deal with them accordingly...perhaps this may be part of the reason some city officials resigned....

Wonder what would happen if everyone stood in front of a mirror and acknowledged if they had ever used a racial slur, repeated or joked using a racial slur or heard a racial slur or questionable joke and did nothing...Does that make those that did racists forever?...How long does this type of thing hang on?....Is it possible that this occurred out of ignorance and/or simply being brought up where things were said and it wasn't even really noticed...There are a lot of people that are so willing to throw the race card and to blame others but never take the time to look at themselves...Again...it would be interesting if this could ever be known and maybe knock some off their soapboxes and recognize our own imperfections before attempting to clean up the attitudes/actions of others....

Further, it's funny that e-mails etc., are allowed to be used for these types of allegations (and there should be consequences if proven) and yet some of the same people that are pointing and outraged about this seem perfectly satisfied with excusing elected...appointed officials in the government for misuse of their electronic devices and e-mails...and covering up their indiscretions ..Guess the government folks were just smarter or more devious because they destroyed the evidence...

The evidence is still there, but the problem is finding somebody with the power to have it found and then forcing prosecutions.. When both parties do UNETHICAL things, it's hard to find one politician that will do more than run their mouths about things the people in the other party do.. The common every day people that care about politics believe so strongly in their party that no matter what PROOF there is, they will argue it and accuse the other party of the same thing or worse while finding proof that the other parties proof is wrong..

     Another.....Rep Charlie Rangel (D-NY) remains in Congress despite his ethical violations the harshest punishment he was censored.....Rep Shock (Rep-IL) same type ethical violations...resigned...Speaker of the House supported the move for him to leave...
