Skip past the info on winning a mixer to the recipe

I haven't been to keen on making cut out cookies and frosting them since the kids are grown and have moved away. But the biggest kid is still here, he loves them, so I gave in and made these yesterday. Received two thumbs up.

Here's the frosting recipe I used. I still have three green fingers from the food coloring for the Christmas trees. No

3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2teaspoons vanilla
1 to 2 tablespoons milk (I used 3 and then the added food coloring also thins the frosting)
