But I did read that Komen uses a bunch of money for "awareness" campaigns.

Lotta good that'll do if there is no cure when you find you have the cancer.

All those charity collections except the salvation army are bogus....I quit giving to anything but people I know need it....

I don't do komen because ive always known that.

There are hundreds of thousands of women out there who have been cured of breast cancer. I have two in my own immediate family. Both were saved by regular mammograms. Awareness is extremely important.
