Ya know we all bitch and moan sometimes (myself included) about the US and getting involved all over the world....Then a situation like this comes along and IF not the US than WHO will step up and do the heavy lifting?... The UN/Rest of the world.... Sitting around with heads placed somewhere in the clouds or elsewhere doesn't solve situations.... Don't know that the US does things because no one else will do for praise...but with all that we've done we don't need to be kicked in the teeth in the court of world opinion either... | |

| Even though we screw up a lot of things, the USA does a lot of good too.

| The UN is useless, nothing but a backdoor way for countries to get aid.
Seems like all the major players in the Mideast are being pretty quiet about this - wasn't that long ago that even Iran wanted to help out. I think the U.S. is being set up, again. | |
