The Arctic or tundra climate is home to the two types of plants that can survive in the Permafrost areas. The trees are: Bilbury and Cotton Grass. Although it is very hard for plants to grow in the Tundra climate because of harsh winds and and cold temperatures, permafrost help these two plants to grow.

Black spruce grow on our permafrost here, so those trees Teo mentioned must be what grows in Russia. All kinds of stuff grows on the permafrost.
