Hopefully, y'all can read the text in the graphic below.  Essentially, a judge has released a prisoner after the Prosecutor stated that they could no longer prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the prisoner had inflicted injuries on his child.

Hopefully, he wasn't guilty of perpetrating the damages in the shaken-baby syndrome case where his baby son died.

I just find that the Prosecutor statement flabbergasting. In so many cases I have seen before, even when ironclad evidence points to exoneration of a prisoner, the Prosecutors do not back down, saying that they got the right guy and he should remain in prison.

This is a new one on me.

I don't think I have read this about a Prosecutor before Prison10

It's possible he didn't do it.. Maybe it was the mommy, or who knows how many other people who had contact with the baby.. It's better to release 1 guilty person than it is to hold an innocent person in jail for something he didn't do..

I wish lie detector tests were legal in courts, but I haven't heard of any ever being used..

Glad to see prosecutors who are reflective, taking the onerous aspects of their job to heart.
