There is an episode tonight on A&E TV and 8 CST that will put the Stand Your Ground law to a test. The show is called "After The First 48" It will be about a trial of a guy that killed a man for attempting to break into his vehicle. In this episode, the man on trial chased the victim after catching him trying to break into his vehicle and stabbed him to death.
If the trailer for this show is correct, in my opinion it will be murder and not self defense. Will have to wait and see.

Sounds like murder to me too, but you know how those Admin people skew things.

Protection of property is not a reason to kill unless you are a fascist government.

I have heard people say "kill 'em and drag 'em inside the house."
I don't think, well, I KNOW I wouldn't shoot somebody breaking into my car. But I might shoot a warning shot into the grass, just to run 'em off.

The judge dismissed the case stating that the accused did have the right to defend himself, even after chasing down the victim and stabbing him. However Karma did in fact get its revenge. 3 months after the case was dismissed, the accused was shot and killed in a drug deal gone bad.

Got to love it when Karma catches up with the bad guys.
