| monitored by NSA?????....Merkels' cellphone was found to be monitored....Our allies are now ticked at the cowh and his administration...We are so concerned about the rights of terrorists when they come to trial but look how we are treating our FRIENDS...News report said that there has already been discussions (France/Germany) about a civil remedy and possible reparations for this monitoring...$$$$$$$$$...so incompetent amatuer moves are now going to cost us...The notorious traitor/whistleblower Snowden says that no phone call made by an American goes without leaving a trace with the NSA....The cowh says no ordinary American is being monitored....Wow...who do you believe?...Another question....when permission to monitor another world leaders is granted who makes that high level decision?....Have we really decended so far that it's difficult to know whether to believe Snowden...the cowh...OR either of them.... | |

| Yes, it's totally outrageous that Obama has been spying on our allies. Why isn't it being made a bigger issue? I suspect because Bush probably did it too.
Obama is Bush lite in a lot of ways. I'm just surprised that the Republicans can hate him so much when he can be so very much like them. |

Don't recall this being a problem during the Bush Administration....so quit trying to justify these amatuer moves by this administration by blaming or suspecting Bush did it too....Remember Bush was the bad guy for the Patriot Act immediately following 9-11 and was accused of invading privacy....Now these same program has been expanded by the cowh and he's monitoring our ALLIES!....He said during the first campaign that this 'wiretapping' would not be used without probable cause...oops....Now he's got France and Germany screaming the loudest and a $4 Billion Dollar deal with Boeing is on hold directly because of this....but Bush probably did this too...right?....Remember it was the cowh as a candidate that said he would restore America's standing in the world.....how's that working out?....

Is that now the progressive standard for disagreeing with policy or having the gall to publically oppose a policy decision? Just because people disagree with a policy, activity, or program doesn't mean they "hate" the sponsor.

| There were many instances of other countries spying on us.. Look at the embassies that have been bugged.. I wonder how many Russian subs were monitoring our commiunications right from NY, Norfolk, San Diego, or possibly even Pensacola bay?? WE did it to Russia for years and even tapped an underwater phone line.. | |

| Political and corporate "spying" is as old as governments and business. Perhaps it's the scale of the NSA spying that bothers folks, technological advances have made eavesdropping on millions a light workout for the NSA. And that's not a real good thing but I doubt there is any going back now. What bothers me most is co-opting telecommunication companies for their user data. | |

You jumped on one word and never even tried to understand my post, did you? My point is that it is outrageous for Obama,or Bush, or anyone to spy on our own allies. As for hating Obama, Obama is probably hated by as many Americans as any POTUS we've ever had. People have made fun of his wife, his kids, and doubted the absolute proof of his place of birth. No president has ever had to prove he was an American in the way that Obama has had to do so. Just because you say you don't "hate" him, don't think that a huge amount of Republicans do. We have groups calling for the violent overthrow of our government because Obama is POTUS.People that used to respect our democratic system of government no longer do- and by democratic, I mean the voting that takes place in a democracy. They scream for "their government back" when all that has happened is they've lost an election. Obama is widely hated, there's no point in denying that, whether you hate him or not. |

! You jumped on one word and never even tried to understand my post, did you? Well ZVUGKTUBM, that's funny coming from you. Hearing a cowh supporter 'whine' about the about the fun made towards the cowh...his wife/family is laughable...This guy has been protected from the media by the media since the beginning of his initial campaign...Never have heard criticism of the children other than expensive spring break trips and their attending priviate schools which is more directed at their parents as they blast those that make a decision to home school or send their kids to private schools over public schools but it's ok for them to make that choice...The ground rules were set from the very beginning...if you were critical..you were a 'hater'...'racist' and the criticism was 'motivated by race'...If his full name was used the same labels were applied...But continue with the whining 'z' or whatever you're calling yourself these days because the cowh has had a free ride and is only now beginning to feel a little heat from the media and that's because of his and his administration's arrogance and incompetence....but of course it's easily explained....HE DIDN'T KNOW....

No cigars for you on that one. Poor "Z" - outed by the date/time stamps on posts - amazing how all your comments here last night and the really hilarious one on that "other" forum were right in the same time period. I don't smoke cigars anyway.
