Aside all that went surfing but the jellies were brutal, ran five miles, scrubbed the floors hands and knees style. Fun times.

Jellies, huh. And I didn't see a one a couple of weeks ago when I went for a swim.

It's about time for them to start coming in, though... Dammit!

Sorry Surfs, I will check into it to find out whay your usual IP was banned. I can tell you for a fact that I did not do it. I have only banned one IP since I started this forum and it was a Guest IP located somewhere in China.

I'm up and typin' again. It's a compulsion, I believe - this necessity to check in with all my pals. It's kind of like having many pen pals, with the waiting by the mail box shorted considerably.

Thanks for asking how I'm feeling. It's been sort of so-so. Had to take a night off from work last night (with permission!), and that's something I rarely if ever do.

Early fall always seems to snag me. Sneezing, coughing, runny eyes, malaise, the whole bit. I'm always much better by mid-October, when I can start thinking about putting in new plants in the greenhouse for the winter crop.

Want me to plant a tree in your honor? :-)

Part of what's wrong with me IS my garden. Every year, I tend it like a child, using new ideas and groupings. I water it like a crazed woman. This year, I did next to nothing, other than try unsuccessfully to grow a few zinnias. The plants I had in pots did great, but the plants in the ground didn't.

I hadn't realized how thoroughly bummed I still was from my garden being vandalized two years ago. Folks used to go by my garden just to tell me how much they enjoyed it, and I miss not having it there for them this year. However, having a project you pour your heart and soul (not to mention blood, sweat and tears) into disappear overnight at the hands of vandals does something to a person, or at least it did to me. I'd much rather they had stolen my lawnmower or my TV!!!

Anyhow, I'm going to redesign it this winter so that anyone who wants to raid the tall flowers will have to come up to the house to do so. It's going to be an interesting re-do, and fun! I hope they fall in the new pond on their way to the house, since I plan to have piranha in the pond. (not really!)

That would really suck to have vandals in the garden. I'd be tempted to ring it with cattle shock wire.

Dont let it get you down too much though. At least you get to redesign a new one and thats fun.

It would be cool if you planeted a tree in my honor. you could make it a cactus if you think im thorney, or some kind of plant when you get mad at me you can mow it over and see if it comes back lol

and id like to think of myself as a tree since I get caught in a lot of storms and seem to bounce back somehow.
