| I love to talk about cycling. Types of bikes, places to ride, Etc. Maybe could discuss different types of logging apps. | |

| I bought this about 8 months ago, only rode it a few times before I went back to Rio, I have been in Pensacola for about a month now and between the rain and going back and forth to south Louisiana I don't have much time to ride it. It is a 7 speed Firmstrong CA-520. It rides good and I do enjoy riding it. |

| Since I am not into cycling(bicycles that is) I have no earthly idea, but isn't a bike really hard to ride in the sand? | |

| Hallmark, what is the lightest one you own? I have some buddies that have the carbon fiber bikes. You can pick em up with one finger. |

| I wish I had a Carbon Bike. I still ride old school steel. I would guess in the mid 20s, maybe 24,25 lbs. I ride solo and I dont have any back up so I carry a lot of crap, tools, inter tube, pump etc, on my bikes. I plan on up grading soon but it is just hard to break lose with than kind of money. Not that they are not worth it. Maybe, Maybe my kids will get the hint one day LOL | |

| Just rode from canal in ob to the state line and back, stopping at the new place on the water THE GULF, no food there or drink new training regimine. Great day for a cycle! If you have not been you can cycle therfrom anywhere in OB which is very cycle friendly. Saturday is our arts fair huge event on canal east of ob bouoevard a great chance to cycle all over ob. If you need directions holler, Here is my bike a TREK 7.9FX CARBON , yes you can pick it up with one finger all your energy is transferred directly to the road. It is rougher riding however the speed is unreal so is the price,,,,,, | |

| I took my bike on a 800 mile ride back in January out of state. For some unknown reason, I've about quit riding locally. |

| My Trek 700 Hybrid seems on the heavy side. I only paid $400 for it (new) about 10 years ago, though. It's still a good bike. | |

Ha, none of you have ever lived with me! I am very utilitarian in nature, and strongly believe that a shop and/or a garage is far more important than a house when looking for living arrangements. The one time I was forced to live without a shop or garage, my living room was full of tools, there were mountain bikes hanging from the ceiling, two floor jacks under the coffee table, riding helmets hung on the walls, and a dirtbike parked in the corner. PRIORITIES! | |

| Hey Hallmark, how about we set up a thread for cycling under "Hobbies and Interests"? I think it deserves a category all its own. I'm going to do it right now. | |
