| Latest (Wednesday night)Ex-Chantal is no longer 'Tropical' but is still producing Tropical force winds as she continues moving WNW tonight. NHC gives her a 20% chance to redevelop (chances are low due to expected shear and land interaction). Here are some of the latest spaghetti models, rainfall predictions, and current satellite imagery. Still a large system that could bring some nasty weather whichever way she goes. The storm has been pretty unpredictable these past few days... so definitely keeping an eye on her! Nothing else solid in the tropics. The wave behind Chantal is off and on in the models... so we will just have to wait and see on that.

| It looks like the interaction with land is going to keep the Chantal weak.

| It doesn't look too impressive on the infrared satellite loop. And the letter designation it carried "D" after it gets even with central Florida means it is projected to be a depression. The upper level low that is East of the Bahamas looks more impressive. | |
