Westside cycling

I saw that you had stopped updating the old site. Good to see you active in it again, my man.

Here's a tip (to be taken with a grain of salt). Google maps https://maps.google.com/

... has a tab over to the right called "Traffic". Click on the traffic tab and there is an option to enable bicycle trails overlaid on your maps.

The grain of salt I mentioned above is that it shows Barrancas International Speedway (AKA Barrancas Avenue) as a bicycle trail, lol.

Anybody in their right mind would not attempt to bicycle down Barrancas Avenue.

Good idea I plan on importing some my rides. The Lakewood area is very good right now as they have repaved all the roads. More to come and thanks for the input.

I just drove down Barrancas and, right there to the side of me, was a fool on a bike. That helmet he was wearing wouldn't do him a bit of good on that road...

I'm sorry I had to miss Navy Point again. I'm back at work, and I can only go every other weekend now. Also, I'm planning to just go ahead and buy an inexpensive bike, since Hallmark told me mine has a definite problem (my foot hits the front wheel every time I make a turn.)

Chances are I can get that bike this week. Not sure yet.

i MIGHT try riding around Ft Pickins sometime Wed morning after I get back from taking dad to get a MRI.. It all depends on how late it is..
