Seattle vs anyone the AFC offers.' Probably Denver. Maybe KC. Probably not New England, Cincinnati, Baltimore or Miami. Seattle wins.
Seattle is making this a very boring year for football prognosticators.

Well, I guess I was right about it not being Cinci. That game today was a real shocker to me. I was also shocked at the KC loss. I was very happy about the Saints win last night, but they will never make it through Seattle with a win. I wish I didn't think that, but I'm pretty sure of it. I think it will be Denver v Seattle in the Super Bowl.

Nice to know we agree. I think Seattle will take it. What do you think? Will Manning pull it out at the end of the game?
I hope not. I'll be rooting for Seattle if that's the final match-up.

I'm betting Denver. Peyton has been amazing all year.

I hope Denver is in it.
As an aside, I read that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be the halftime performer. In an outdoor cold-weather performance (MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford, New York), there are going to be some hard nipples if they do the performance sans shirts, lol.

Yes, great game. New England is still able to scare me even when they're down by nearly 3 TD's and only 12 minutes left. Not this time though . Crybaby Brady can spend his off season wondering what happened.

I was sweating the 4th quarter because of Brady's history. My Championship T shirt is on order ....along with 2 Championship T's for my grandsons.....they are Saints fans.

And now it looks like it will definitely be Denver V Seattle. I think Denver may be the better team but I still think Seattle will figure out some way to win. They've done it all year and I believe they can do it one more time, even if it's 6 feet deep snow on Super Bowl Sunday. They just seem like the "team of destiny" to me.
No slam on Denver though. Manning is a great QB and might surprise me.

I'll be pulling for Denver.
I never liked Seattle's coach Carroll after he was involved with So. Cal. when they got in deep trouble and he jumped ship to the NFL.

This interview was bizarre to say the least.

Here is Richard Sherman's op-ed after the strange interview with Erin Andrews.
I spent most of the game on an island: I was targeted only twice during the entire NFC Championship. The first produced a BS holding call against me; the second ended the game. Michael Crabtree stutter-stepped out of his break on first down and sprinted toward the end zone. I was in good position for a pick until he pushed me in the back. My interception became a tip and an interception for Malcolm Smith in the end zone.
Game over. The Seahawks are in the Super Bowl.
I ran over to Crabtree to shake his hand but he ignored me. I patted him, stuck out my hand and said, “Good game, good game.” That’s when he shoved my face, and that’s when I went off.
I threw a choking sign at 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Why? Because he decided he was going to try the guy he was avoiding all game, because, I don’t know, he’s probably not paying attention for the game-winning play. C’mon, you’re better than that.
“It was loud, it was in the moment, and it was just a small part of the person I am.” Erin Andrews interviewed me after the game and I yelled what was obvious: If you put a subpar player across from a great one, most of the time you’re going to get one result. As far as Crabtree being a top-20 NFL receiver, you’d have a hard time making that argument to me. There are a lot of receivers playing good ball out there, and Josh Gordon needed 14 games to produce almost double what Crabtree can do in a full season. And Gordon had Brandon Weeden, Brian Hoyer and Jason Campbell playing quarterback.
But that’s not why I don’t like the man. It goes back to something he said to me this offseason in Arizona, but you’d have to ask him about that. A lot of what I said to Andrews was adrenaline talking, and some of that was Crabtree. I just don’t like him.
It was loud, it was in the moment, and it was just a small part of the person I am. I don’t want to be a villain, because I’m not a villainous person. When I say I’m the best cornerback in football, it’s with a caveat: There isn’t a great defensive backfield in the NFL that doesn’t have a great front seven. Everything begins with pressure up front, and that’s what we get from our pass rushers every Sunday. To those who would call me a thug or worse because I show passion on a football field—don’t judge a person’s character by what they do between the lines. Judge a man by what he does off the field, what he does for his community, what he does for his family.
But people find it easy to take shots on Twitter, and to use racial slurs and bullying language far worse than what you’ll see from me. It’s sad and somewhat unbelievable to me that the world is still this way, but it is. I can handle it.

Sherman is a really good player and he is smart......there is no love lost between the two teams. Crabtree and Sherman do have a history stemming from an incident during a golf tournament. Again those two are like oil and water. The Championship title came down to one deciding play .....Sherman won.

It did look like Crabtree shoved Sherman in the face when he extended his hand out for a handshake. I can see why Sherman was angry. I don't watch Seattle football much but I did notice earlier in the game when a San Francisco player made a catch and ran out of bounds it looked like Sherman gave him a pat on the shoulderpads. I was impressed with that gesture. It's just all part of the game.

I like Manning so I'm rooting for Denver but I hope it's a good game. Question, what's a Bruno Mars?

I'm not a football fan but I do usually listen to Broncos games in the shop on the radio with my cousin. Sitting this one out cos he's watching it at the bar and I have to work tonight. I know, I know... it's un-American. I like UFC... whaddya want from me, lol.
To get to my point I keep hearing on the radio that the Chili Peppers are playing at half time which is cool... I like all their early stuff. When I heard they'd been invited to play by a "Bruno Mars" I had the same response, "What's a Bruno Mars?" I thought it was a band. Apparently it's a guy. Live and learn.
